The Role & Team:
As a Director, Ad Product Innovation you will be an integral part in accelerating and planning the creative evolution of Insider's ad products to be more innovative, premium and to create distinct products for advertisers.
You should have a strong grasp on advertising technology and product executions that drive revenue to help position Insider as a cutting-edge ad product leader. As the director, you will be responsible for defining, developing and executing Insider's ad product strategy
You are a master of cross-functional work, and are comfortable leading projects and product development across multiple teams — from product, tech, revenue, operations and marketing — you can orchestrate work seamlessly. Part manager, part marketer and ad tech authority, you will flex your product expertise and vision across the organization.
This role reports directly to the VP, Ad Product Innovation and has the option to be remote and/or based in our New York City office. (remote/hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
• Lead strategic planning, development, and implementation of monetization opportunities for Insider Advertising.

• Ideating and executing social extensions for large tentpole campaigns. These plans have been crucial in selling campaigns like T100, Climate Action 30, and Talent Insider with Indeed to sell.
Providing social channels for 27 custom campaigns and posting and distributing all custom videos.
• Collaborate with Distribution, Special Projects, and Studios teams to create proactive and reactive plans for social media distribution and amplification of content, specifically sponsored editorial — for proposals and also sold business.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI against series/special report’s goals and reports on social for select custom campaign wrap reports.
• Deliver integrated strategy and schedule for edit sponsorships and custom campaigns that are sold.
• Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices.

Reporting directly to the President and working closely with the executive team, the SVP of Strategy and Operations is critical to the future success and evolution of our business. The SVP will be an important partner to our senior executive team. In service of their mission, the SVP will partner with stakeholders throughout the company and continue to build out our analytic capabilities and reporting to help us operate more effectively. Importantly, this person will have accountability for creating a more effective Insider newsroom. They will work with editorial leaders to help our newsroom make effective, data-driven decisions on resource allocation, optimizations resulting from news cycle, audience, or platform changes, and operation strategy.
